At 4:30 pm we meet at a local market to go and purchase fresh produce.
Your chef and guide shares stories about the specific Parisian market culture, produce being shopped and food merchants in France.
Around 5:45 pm we are back at Le Foodist for our Hands-On Cooking Class.
For 2 &1/2 hours, we learn basic and advanced French cooking techniques through the process of creating a three course meal. We might get to drink a glass or two in the process ...
8::00 pm is time for dinner - to which we add white wine, red wine and cheese, of course!
During dinner, your host will share stories on each of the dishes to help illustrate various aspects of French culture: a bit of history, a touch of sociology, tongue in cheek humour, and quite a bit of gastronomy as one might expect ... we are told this is quite unique in Paris.
